Glastonbury
Glastonbury is a different and rather lively small town. It sits on the ancient Isle of Avalon in the Somerset Levels, with a backdrop of soft, green, rolling hills. It has been a pilgrimage place for thousands of years. The famous Abbey and grounds are steeped in medieval history.
Overlooking it all is Glastonbury Tor, a fascinating holy hill. . For a hundred years it has been a mecca for 'cultural creatives' and an interfaith town.
